Dr. Austin Wessling, DMD

Dr. Wessling was born and raised on the island of Guam until he left at the age of 19 to fulfill his dream of graduating from the University of Washington. During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Wessling earned a double-bachelor degree and worked as a dental assistant for seven years before graduating in 2009.

His pursuit of higher learning continued when he earned a Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences from Midwestern University. Dr. Wessling accomplished another lifelong dream when he received a dual degree in Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry and a Master of Public Health from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health.

With his diverse training and experience, Dr. Wessling understands why many patients suffer from anxiety and fear of seeing the dentist and aims to become their advocate. He is passionate about delivering whole-person care that not only focuses on oral health but wellness for all. Dr. Wessling has a younger brother diagnosed with Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and a speech impediment which has inspired Dr. Wessling to serve the special needs community. Kindness, compassion, and quality care are pillars of Dr. Wessling’s approach to dentistry.

For leisure, Dr. Wessling enjoys traveling and sharing his love for cooking, exercising, and hiking with others.
