Dr. Sandy Gramajo, DMD

In-Office Dentist

Although originally from Guatemala, Dr. Gramajo grew up partly in Los Angeles, CA, and partly in Houston, Texas. Dr. Gramajo graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Chemistry from the University of Houston-Downtown before earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA.

Dr. Gramajo’s passion for dental care began at an early age. She was enrolled in a pre-school program where “toothbrush time” was an important part of the daily routine. Preschoolers are not naturally fans of brushing their teeth so as an incentive, every student received a pink, plaque-disclosing tablet. Dr. Gramajo remembers standing on a step stool and brushing away all the “pink stuff”; it was her favorite part of the day.

Dr. Gramajo turned her passion into a profession. Today, her goals are to provide a high standard of dental care utilizing a compassionate and patient-centered approach. Her background in research pushes her to pursue continued education and stay up to date on advances in dentistry.

Outside of work, Dr. Gramajo likes to collect rare species of cacti and music records with her fiancé.
